Mostly used for religious purposes over the last 96 years, Sacred Basecamp was originally built in 1929 and used by the Mormon Church until the 1960’s. It was then used as a residence for a brief time, and then a ceramic pottery studio. Prior to 2022, when it was purchased by the current owners, the property was owned by the Morgan Valley Christian Fellowship and used for weekly church services and communal gatherings for over 40 years. From 2022-2023, the property was restored for adaptive re-use through an extensive historic renovation process that re-envisioned the space for multiple uses, including overnight short-term and-long term guest accommodations, creative art and writing residencies, wellness retreats, daytime co-working and meeting spaces for travelers, a corporate retreat center, executive ski chateau or remote-work headquarters, and boutique venue for bespoke private parties, pop-up gatherings, and other festive seasonal events.
